They said it couldn’t be done but we did it ! H+T climbed up a mountain, after we drove a good portion… 🙂 It doesn’t matter to me or them because we had a great time and they know they’ve been to to the (almost) top of the highest point in Vermont.

Another trip to the Palos Triangle. This time I met Tom for his first ever single track. He did pretty well, said it was eye-opening and fun. I mixed it up and we hit the yellow trail east – on Bull Whip over to Cemetery Ridge. I had the GoPro on and grabbed some footage. […]
Whoa did we have a great time on the trail. Want to inspire a someone to put down a video game, take them to the Palos Trail Network. I was towing the Burley with T and H was leading the way on his Schwinn. We parked at Wolf Road Woods on, well, Wolf Road. From […]
Finally on single track ! It’s been a record year for rain and the trails have been closed whenever I had the time to roll. It was great to hit the old favorites.
We were looking for something to do on a Saturday so I decided to google “Nature Center”. To my surprise Bolingbrook Park District’s Hidden Lakes Nature Center popped up. The guys thought it was a good idea so we packed up some water and granola bars and hopped in the car. We pulled off of […]

So if I’m riding the pavement, I might as well be using the skinny tires. I forgot how much fun the road bike could be. I was able to cut 10 minutes off of the fat tire time for the same section and move up the Strava list of fastest times. Now I need to […]
With the MS 150, Tour de Prairie getting REALLY close I need to rack up miles on the pavement. It’s taking a little getting used to but it’s really fun to crank up some speed. The Centennial is a fantastic paved trail and a real gem for the Lemont area. We really to connect the […]
I figured I needed to start getting used to the road for the MS150 – what better place to start than racking up miles on the Centennial Trail. I started from the house and headed towards Willow Springs. Downhill was good, but I didn’t completely notice the tailwind. By the time I hit east bound […]
Finally back in the saddle — and I need to get more time in the saddle with the MS150 ride coming up in June. The weather was chilly. I forgot how much I’ve learned to enjoy the Waterfall Glen loop, with Signal Hill added in. Signal is a tough climb, especially at the beginning of […]
